Even if it was just for that one moment. Reply You might submit that to EPOD: http://epod.usra.edu/blog/contribute-to-epod.html Reply Damn that’s amazing. What settings did you use? Reply Beautiful! Reply Natural light was provided by a first quarter moon which was low on the horizon at the time of the shot. This helped illuminate the arch with beautiful gold light. I then raised the exposure a little on the arch and sea to bring up some of the detail that was previously hidden. Other than the usual Lightroom touch ups on the milky way, I also applied a graduated ND filter in Lightroom on the bottom half of the picture where it meets the sea. This helped tone down some of the light pollution that was present along the horizon and helped reveal a bit more of the milky way. Shot details below: Shot on a Nikon D810 + Nikkor 14-24 f/2.8 using Feisol CT-3442 tripod + Feisol CB-50D ballhead 14mm 20sec f/2.8 ISO 3200 Reply Is this for real of a painting? Reply Makes the canvas of the same place in my hallway look shite. Reply Great shot! Is this one photo or multi – layered? Reply Can’t wait to see it stacked tho!! Been aiming for night lightning shots… this will be next for me Reply What a tongue twister! Reply That’s a good one. Next time I will use a 30 second shutter maybe… Reply Looks like a duck about to dive Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Connect with: Your email address will not be published.
