  1. I have been a mod of this sub for going on 6 years now, and I have seen hundreds of different Horseshoe Bend shots, and I have to say, this is one of the best I have ever seen. Great work.

  2. I got to see this in Google Earth VR. You can stand right at the edge and look down. It’s so much more massive than any photo can show. You can even fly down and stand on the water and look around at the canyon walls. That experience and photos like this one make me want to visit it in person.

  3. If you didn’t have to survive on scorpion flesh and mountain goat urine in order reach this location, then I fear your picture is substandard.

  4. I love Horseshoe Bend but hate going there. I passed through on a hike and the experience was kind of ruined by the amount of tourists just there to take a quick picture and leave.

  5. I went here for christmas. There is seriously no walls or bars and the hike to get there is so short. The drop is a *FUCKING LONG ASS WAY DOWN* 10/10 reccomend sitting in the edge for a selfie. I did it. Darwnin hasn’t claimed me yet.

  6. Awesome picture. It’s now my desktop. By chance would you happen to have pictures 10 minutes before and 10 minutes after. I would love to see a version that shows the Sun just cresting The Horizon. Thank you

  7. Thank you for sharing, OP! For anyone interested, the camera info is embedded in the image.

  8. I wonder what’s the emotion and stress relief like see sites like this in person, never traveled a lot but would like too.. also I heard the Grand Canyon is breath taking!?!?

  9. I have actually seen this in person and nothing can compare to actually being on the edge and feeling the wind blow up on your face, also nothing can compare to THE SHITTY FRENCH TOURIST THAT PLAGUE UTAH DURING THE SUMMER

  10. Amazing photo! I grew up 5 min from here in Page, AZ. Between having Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon, and Lake Powell all within 5 min of home it was a pretty amazing place to live. Thanks for invoking a flood of memories with your excellent photography. Well done!

  11. Those pictures turned out great! So what did you end up using? I would like to get a cheap but decent rig. I travel a lot, I would like to record and photograph my experiences.
