  1. A few are impressively effective.

    e.g. garlic as allicin or aged garlic extract

    “Core method when taken consistently before sickness begins. Evidence of strong reduction (60-70%). Take aged garlic extract at 2.5g/day, or allicin at 180mg/day.”

    60-70% shorter colds!

    A different one, Pelargonium sidoides can be taken at the first sign of symptoms and reduced the days where someone felt unable to work from 7 to 2! (Randomized placebo controlled trial, i.e. there were other people who took 1.5ml of placebo 3x/day)

    “After 10 days, 78.8% versus 31.4% in the EPs versus placebo group were clinically cured (CIS equals zero points or complete resolution of all but a maximum of one cold symptom; P < .0001). The mean duration of inability to work was significantly lower in the EPs treatment group (6.9 +/- 1.8 days) than in the placebo group (8.2 +/- 2.1 days; P = .0003).”
